I have been an attorney for over 33 years practicing continuously in criminal court. I have been Chief Public Defender of the largest Public Defender’s Office in South Carolina (Richland County) and Chief Public Defender in Beaufort, South Carolina.

In the Greenville County Solicitor’s Office, I was a member of the Violent Crime Unit and head of one of two trial teams.

I have been in private practice with Moss & Kuhn in Beaufort and in Greenville, South Carolina for the last dozen years as Quinn Law Office.

I have been an instructor at the National College of District Attorneys, for the South Carolina Bar and have taught private seminars. I have taught criminal law and business law at technical colleges in South Carolina.

I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (sustaining member), South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (sustaining member), Greenville County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The National College for DUI Defense, The South Carolina Center for Equal Rights, and The Federal Bar Association.

I was selected as one of the American Trial Lawyer Association’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers in South Carolina in 2007.

I am certified as death penalty qualified by the South Carolina Supreme Court and served on two committees of the South Carolina Bar.
